Cookie Notice
This notice describes how Bedazzle Arts uses cookies and local browser storage to keep our website secure, functional, and user-friendly.
1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or device by websites that you visit. Along with local browser storage, they are widely used to make websites work, improve security, and provide essential functionality.
2. Our Cookie Policy
We use essential cookies and browser storage to operate the site, plus Atinamos Analytics, a website statistics service supplied by Atinamos, a separate business independent of Bedazzle. The analytics uses pseudonymous identifiers stored in your browser. You can object at any time using the control on this page.
- Essential session storage keeps booking and website forms working, including security checks.
- Atinamos Analytics is developed and provided by Atinamos, not Bedazzle. We use it to measure page visits, referral sources, coarse device information and approximate engagement so we can improve our websites. It uses pseudonymous browser storage and is not used by Bedazzle for advertising or profiling visitors across unrelated websites.
- Your browser loads the tracking script from
atinamos.co.ukand sends website-usage information to Atinamos's analytics service. Its database is hosted by Fasthosts. The tracking script does not request third-party analytics cookies; its browser identifiers use localStorage on this website.
3. Cookies and Local Storage We Use
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Main-website session used for form security (CSRF protection), challenges and temporary messages. | Session (deleted when browser closes) |
| bedazzle_boxoffice | Box Office booking session and security. | Session cookie (expires at the end of your browser session). |
| bedazzle_analytics_opt_out | Remembers that you objected to analytics across Bedazzle's main website and Box Office. Created only when you object. | Up to 400 days, unless cleared by you or your browser. |
| Atinamos Analytics localStorage | Pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers used only to compile website statistics. No customer name, typed text or form content is read. | Visitor identifier refreshes on use with a 90-day expiry; session identifier expires after 30 minutes' inactivity. |
| Browser Local Storage | Stores temporary, non-identifying client-side preferences (such as closed announcement pop-up states) to prevent repeating information. | Persistent / User cleared |
4. Future Third-Party Embeds
Some pages may include external video or other third-party features. These services can use their own storage and cookies. We will review such integrations and provide the information and controls required before introducing them; our own website remains responsible for explaining how any active embed works.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can configure your browser to block cookies or delete existing ones. Blocking essential cookies such as PHPSESSID or bedazzle_boxoffice may prevent contact forms, portals or ticket booking from working correctly.
6. Website Analytics
Atinamos Analytics is a service supplied by Atinamos, an independent business separate from Bedazzle. Its script sends the page path (without query strings), page title, referral source, coarse device category, pseudonymous visitor/session IDs and approximate active time to an analytics service at atinamos.co.uk, storing records in a Fasthosts-hosted database. IDs are HMAC-hashed on the server. The tracking script does not read booking details, email addresses, form contents or what you type. Bedazzle uses the resulting statistics to understand and improve website usage, not for personalised advertising.
The browser identifiers are not your booking reference. The analytics system is separate from Box Office booking/payment records. The current server-side raw-data retention and deletion process is being reviewed; we will not claim automatic deletion until it has been verified.
Object to website analytics
We use Atinamos Analytics only to compile statistics about how our site is used so that we can improve it. You may object freely at any time. The choice also applies to Bedazzle Box Office on this domain.
Checking your analytics preference…
Opting out stops future analytics browser storage and requests after this page refreshes. It does not delete statistics already collected; contact our data protection team for a data-rights request. You may change your choice here at any time.
